Harald Zehetner was not actually planning to trade in his existing crusher for a new one until the following year. After a demonstration of the RM 90GO!, however, he was so enthusiastic that Zehetner Transporte – Erdbau GmbH were soon the proud owners of a new RM impact crusher. “The capacity and the time saving factor as a result were absolutely convincing for me. Now I only need around half or a third of the time compared to before,” says Harald Zehetner enthusiastically about the throughput of up to 200 t/h.
Harald Zehetner, Managing Director and owner of Zehetner Transporte – Erdbau GmbH in Pettenbach, counts above all on efficiency, versatility and mobility. The crusher is used at intermediate storage yards to process concrete and recycle rubble and asphalt, and for the processing of aggregate in the gravel pit. This is where the RM crusher produces crushed material such as 0/16, 0/32, 0/63, 16/50, 30/70. The impact crusher is also used for on-site mobile crushing when buildings are demolished. The RM 90GO! with RM MS95GO! and RM RFB7540GO! confirmed in an impressive product demonstration that it meets all requirements as a low-noise, high-performance crusher. The major savings in cost were the reason why the investment was brought forward – a decision which paid off from day one of use.
Concrete processing made easy
Concrete which requires disposal causes high costs. Reprocessing not only saves the costs of disposal, it also avoids the procurement of new material. This is the reason why Zehetner Transporte – Erdbau decided to set up intermediate storage yards for this purpose. One of the first uses of the RM 90GO! was in the processing of concrete in intermediate storage. All in all around 800 t of concrete were processed on this day for reuse.
Enormous savings of time and resources through easy handling
What counts is the fast and uncomplicated operation of the RM 90GO!. “As the RM MS95GO! screen is already connected directly to the crusher, it cuts out one working step. This saves me time and enables higher productivity,” says Harald Zehetner.
Harald Zehetner also sees the hydraulic pivoting refeeding belt as an additional outstanding benefit. This transports oversize material either back into the vibro-channel for it to be returned to the crusher again or it is used as a side discharge belt. The pivoting action also allows you to discharge the material at the angle of your choice between 90° and 180°. Thanks to the raised discharge of the refeeding belt, lorries can be filled immediately and the oversize material can be taken away as quickly as possible.
The control system with remote control function makes work even more convenient. As soon as the remote control – which is part of the standard equipment – is switched on, all functions change from the control panel on the machine to the remote control system. The excavator operator can now adapt the feeding speed according to the changing material directly from the excavator and switch the belts on and off. In the event of a blockage the release system which remedies this can be activated. Like all other RM crushers the RM 90GO! can also be moved while crushing. As a result, time-consuming changeovers are now a thing of the past for Zehetner Erdbau.
Our crushers in action

Recycling
More than 25 years ago, RM created a new market with on-site recycling. Demolition waste, reinforced concrete and asphalt are processed into value grain by mobile crushers. RM mobile crushers are used worldwide for a wide range of recycling applications.

Concrete Crusher
Concrete is versatile wherever and whenever. The high quality and strength of this material is well known. As a result, concrete is one of the most important recycling raw materials.

Natural rock
Crushing at a high output and low wear, and that in every possible and impossible location, is not an issue for RM crushers. They manage to generate the highest quality value grain from natural stone on site. Depending on the desired combination of machinery. The end result is always cubic aggregate.

Abrasive rock
Quartz gravel, granite and riverbed gravel are not easy to process because high levels of quartz cause high wear. However, RM crushers are designed for such materials: thanks to their compact size they can achieve high throughputs even in tight spaces, producing valuable aggregate directly on site at all times.

Crushing gravel with 90% quartz content
Processing 24,000 tons of gravel with a quartz content of around 90 percent to produce 0-32 mm value grain
– that was the right challenge for the RM 100GO!. The mobile power pack with its wear-resistant hammers rose to this challenge in the Vienna basin extremely economically. Excavator and loader drivers are impressed.

Endurance in riverbed gravel
Building roads to connect to eastern Mexico was difficult because of the problematic terrain. It was necessary to prepare materials on site because of the remote locations of the construction sites. The RM 70GO! is ideal for challenges like this. Its manoeuvrability make it a perfect machine.

High demand for crushed sand and grit
The Swiss company Mühlebach AG has been successfully processing gravel for 40 years. As pioneers in this business field, they demand machines that are state of the art. They have now added an RM V550GO! to their fleet of machines in order to meet the demand for crushed sand and grit.

Impressive RM V550GO! performance in Argentina
At the beginning of the year the RM V550GO! made light work of transforming 0-200 mm river rock into fine 0-19 mm value grain. The awesome capacity and low diesel consumption were key in the Argentine company’s decision to purchase the RM V550GO!.
