Following a two-month test phase, Holcim decided to purchase the RM V550GO! together with the RM CS4800 for their gravel pit in Brunnen. They later exchanged the RM CS4800 for a larger RM MSC8500M-3D re-screen. Only recently, another RM V550GO! and an RM HS5000M joined the fleet as rental machines. Daniel Gisler, workshop manager at the gravel pit, is pleased with the choice of machine, “The RM V550GO! is unique and is exactly the machine we need for our application. The final aggregate is cuboid and of very high quality. We are highly satisfied!”

The tracked vertical shaft impactor combines the advantages of cone and impact crushers, making it the ideal machine for processing larger and hard material in the natural stone sector. The quality of the crushed limestone is particularly important to the Brunnen gravel pit, as an exact final aggregate size and a cuboid shape are required for the production of concrete gravel. Daniel Gisler is also enthusiastic about the versatile RM screens “The screening curve is excellent! We achieve great screening quality while maintaining high throughputs.”

Some years previously, the Swiss company had already been interested in the RUBBLE MASTER brand: “We spent a long time looking for a suitable crusher. Natural rock

Crushing at a high output and low wear, and that in every possible and impossible location, is not an issue for RM crushers. Basalt preparation

Crushed basalt is used for a variety of purposes. Most often, it is crushed to be used as an aggregate in construction projects.

Increase in orders with cuboid final aggregate

In Mexico the RM 100GO! replaces a jaw and cone crusher combination. Basalt with a diameter of up to 500 mm is crushed into different sizes of cuboid final aggregate, which is then reused for asphalt production. Final aggregate grades between 0-19 and 0 25 mm are processed to a high standard without any problems.

RM 70GO! 2.0 crushes hard river basalt

The first mobile RM crusher in Gorontalo, Indonesia, has been in operation since spring 2017. The new RM 70GO! 2.0 replaces several machines at once: instead of using the jaw crusher combined with a cone crusher, this mobile crusher unit processes extremely hard river basalt in a single pass.
