Limestone is formed from sediments over long periods of time. Thanks to its diverse mineral composition, it is extremely versatile. It serves as the main aggregate for cement and is used in numerous other applications in the

construction industry. In addition, limestone is used as a raw material in the chemical industry and also serves as a fertiliser.

JOB STORIES

Holcim Switzerland chooses RUBBLE MASTER

The production of high quality concrete gravel requires high quality cuboid aggregate. At the Brunnen gravel pit in Switzerland, four RUBBLE MASTER plants – two RM V550GO!, one RM MSC8500M and an RM HS5000M – process limestone, which is later used as an aggregate material in concrete gravel.

High-end in all respects

In June 2020, an RM 120GO! mobile crusher was delivered to Henan Province, China, to process limestone for road construction. Impressed by the great throughput and final aggregate quality, the customer went for a RUBBLE MASTER product to benefit from the excellent local service.

RM 100GO! replaces outdated jaw and cone combination

Pavimentos Rasillo is responsible for maintaining the main street between the USA and Mexico. After changing from a jaw and cone combination to the RM 100GO!, limestone rocks are processed to produce high quality final aggregate in a single pass.

Greener cement with RM 100GO!

One of the biggest cement plant in the Philippines has been renting the mobile RM 100GO! since summer 2019. The RM machine – which complies with the local quarry specifications and safety regulations – will be used in future to process aggregates for high quality, more environmentally friendly cement.

Construction industry leader chooses RM

With subsidiaries in more than 50 countries around the world, the French Colas Group is one of the largest companies in the construction industry. This year Colas’ Moroccan subsidiary Concassage.ma chose to invest in an RM 100GO! compact crusher, which together with a mesh screen processes basalt and limestone on site.

Crushing limestone for cement production

MRMJ Earthmovers Inc. in the Philippines is now equipped to enter a new business sector with RUBBLE MASTER: mobile processing. An RM service technician even came especially to train the customer’s personnel and make sure both machines were set up perfectly to start operation.

Mobile crushing limestone at 50°C

Working in temperatures above 50°C makes operating conditions in Saudi Arabia exceptionally tough. Impressed by the flexibility, heat resistance and efficiency of the high-performance crusher, the RM 100GO! is used to crush limestone and other materials.

Crushing limestone rock for prestigious infrastructure project

An RM V550GO! is in action building the high-speed railway between Stuttgart and Ulm. Its mission is to crush limestone rock. Material excavated from the tunnel is processed into 0-56 mm value grain in a single pass. As a result, the excavated material does not need to be transported away by truck.

Awesome performance in the mountains

The rebuilding of Austria’s highest railway station came with major challenges for everyone involved. The most economical solution for the customer was clearly to recycle and reuse the material on site. The RM 60 including post screen processed 5,000 tonnes of limestone rock
