Employees and their families joined the celebrations at the RM Family Day in Northern Ireland at the beginning of September. The RM Group is pleased about its successful first year together and also numerous employees from RM Headquarters in Linz were enthusiastic about having the opportunity to take part.
RM apprentices are continuously developing innovative products. This year two technical apprentices developed a machine error troubleshooting device that displays and analyses machine error codes quickly and easily.
Continuing on its course of success and innovation, there is a lot happening at RUBBLE MASTER, which has meanwhile grown into the RM Group. The expansion of RM’s headquarters in Linz-Pichling is a milestone in their development with a new management team to drive the company forward.
Every August, the RM Family is always happy to welcome new apprentices. An exciting and thrilling time lies ahead of the newcomers, during which they will acquire not only professional skills, but also knowledge for life.
The presentation of the results of the research project run jointly by RUBBLE MASTER and the Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) Institute for Integrated Quality Design (IQD) provided insight into possible future developments at RM. The interdisciplinary cooperation of the research institute with RM was a complete success on all sides.
For Suppliers Day and the Summer Opening 2019, RUBBLE MASTER once again opened the doors of its headquarters to offer a colourful programme of events. Highlights included presentations by experts on RM products, interviews with suppliers who had some interesting input and a colourful party for the whole family.
RUBBLE MASTER re-entered the Indian market as it impressed with its quality the Indian company Schwing Stetter India at bauma. The RUBBLE MASTER product range complements the Schwing Stetter India offering so that they can now offer their customers a complete solution.
Selfies were popular at bauma both with ex-ski racer Hermann Maier as well as with the new generation of RM machines. What was impressive about RM NEXT was once again the intuitive simplicity of the crushers. With human-machine communication RM-style, you can immediately see what the RM crusher wants to tell you.
As part of their company project, seven international students from the Steyr University of Applied Sciences have been following the takeover of Maximus by RUBBLE MASTER. In their study to analyse quality aspects, they mainly examined the corporate culture and values of the two companies.
Since the early 1990s RM has been setting benchmarks in Compact Crushing. At bauma 2019 (booth B2.236) you will experience the ongoing development of the RM GO! brand in the form of RM GO! NEXT. In addition to a fully integrated hybrid drive, RM will be launching a world first for mobile screens.
Despite the noticeable trepidation due to the impending change in presidency in Nigeria, numerous discussions were held at the RM trade fair stand. The majority of the inquiries were from the mining industry, while many trade fair visitors were also interested in natural rock applications.
In partnership with the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, RUBBLE MASTER invited the eighth forms at the BG/BRG school in Enns to the Dual Academy to take a new path in times of a shortage of skilled workers. Many students took the opportunity to get to know the company and the advantages of the Dual Academy.
2018 was another year of expansion at RUBBLE MASTER. The 100% acquisition of Maximus, expansion of the RM Family with new dealerships and the première of Tianjin RUBBLE MASTER Technology Corp at the bauma China trade show were just some of the highlights.
RM apprentices are offered an international internship as part of their training at RUBBLE MASTER. Engineering apprentice Carmina Kleiß recently travelled to Northern Ireland for two weeks. RM has won an award for the professional way in which they organise their international internships.
RUBBLE MASTER was named Linz Company of the Year in the Innovation & Export category on 19 November 2018. Following the Austrian Export Award and the Hermes Business Award, this is the third export accolade scooped up this year by the successful company.
The HERMES business award is the annual prize for the most successful company in Austria. The HERMES jury chose RUBBLE MASTER as the winner in the International category based on key performance indicators.
The RM Product Champions in China and South America met during two regional PC meetings to exchange experiences and strategies for the future. With their strong ties to the RM brand, they are the first point of contact at each dealer, ready to provide expert advice.
Customers, sales partners and employees took part in the RM Kart Trophy or looked on as enthusiastic spectators. Numerous long-standing customers were also present and took the opportunity to exchange ideas, find out the latest news and celebrate together with around 400 guests at the RM Oktoberfest.
RUBBLE MASTER has been training apprentices for nearly 20 years. On 6 August we welcomed our four new apprentices who started their careers at RM. On their second day they were already heading out on the annual apprentice outing with 12 RM apprentices and the two instructors.
RUBBLE MASTER and Maximus hosted a welcome party at the company’s location in Dungannon to celebrate the start of their future together. 250 guests took the opportunity to get to know the company and the RUBBLE MASTER employees in a relaxed atmosphere.
Two electric vehicle charging stations from the Mühlviertel firm of Kreisel Electric were recently installed at RUBBLE MASTER’s headquarters in Pichling. Customers, delivery workers and, of course, RM staff can now refill their electric cars with new power at one of the RM charging points.
RUBBLE MASTER on the road to victory. Winning the acclaimed Austrian Export Prize – which the Austrian Chamber of Commerce has been awarding to successful companies for the past 24 years – highlights their success. Both the managing directors are clear about the reason: “We have the best team in the industry”.
For the third RM Suppliers Day around 65 suppliers took up the invitation to come to RM Headquarters. Following a cultural welcome to the Lentos Museum of Modern Art in Linz, the afternoon was spent in workshops. The day was rounded off at a party with the RM Team.
RM has founded Tianjin RUBBLE MASTER Technology CO., Ltd – a new sales subsidiary in China. RUBBLE MASTER already has experience in the Chinese market and the RM Team together with other RM dealerships will look after customers in China. Initial successes have already been achieved.
Over 100 Thai constructors got together at the official launch of the RM 70GO! 2.0 in Bangkok. At the event RM Sales Partner Watkinson Construction Equipment Co., Ltd. handed over the first two RM impact crushers to their new owners. RM’s and Watkinson’s core values were also presented.
RUBBLE MASTER presented the Compact Crushing business concept to the Austrian-Tanzanian Business Circle in Dar E Salaam. Numerous infrastructure projects create a need for on-site processing. 20 companies took this opportunity to meet the experts.
The employees of the future are a focal point at RM. Internships abroad, apprentice meetings with the management team and awards for success in school are a fixed part of the apprenticeship training. We still have a vacancy for an Apprentice Office Assistant (m/f) for 2018.
The Upper Austrian company RUBBLE MASTER continues to expand, and is the majority owner of Maximus, the Northern Irish screen manufacturer. Exceeding our customers’ expectations with high qualitative crushing and screening equipment as well as excellent RM service is our key mutual objective.
RUBBLE MASTER has continued to grow in 2017, too. An over 20% increase in turnover and a growing RM family with new employees and sales partners confirm the ongoing success story. Highlights included receiving the Red Dot Design Award for the RM 120GO!.
RUBBLE MASTER took third place in the International Companies category at the “Austria’s Leading Companies” awards. Thanks to the high growth in recent years plus the good sales figures, RUBBLE MASTER was able to impress the jury with regard to benchmarking.
RM trainee Matthias Pichler is one of Austria’s best apprentice construction machinery technicians. He took 5th place in the national apprentice competition. The best eleven apprentices overall in Austria competed against each other with tasks including turning, welding, filing and other skills.
The RM Open Days and 5th anniversary celebration were held on 27-28 October at RUBBLE MASTER SCHWEIZ AG in Hasle bei Burgdorf in the canton of Bern. Customers, suppliers and other interested guests visited the new location opened in 2016 and celebrated with the team.
At the end of September 60 RM experts from 30 countries experienced an exciting RM Product and Service Champion Meeting. The participants discussed both the current situation and the innovations required in the future. The weekend was rounded off with the exciting Kart Trophy at the RM Headquarters.
With the RM 120GO!, the RM 90GO! and numerous new developments, RUBBLE MASTER once again confirmed its pioneering role in the field of mobile processing at Steinexpo. The active pre-screen was shown live in action for the first time on the RM 120GO! and met with the enthusiasm of our technophile German customers.
The IRIS environment price was awarded by the City of Linz to RM on 06 July 2017 in the category “Companies and Institutions”. They were particularly impressed with the innovative business idea with which RM crushers have been contributing actively to environmental protection for more than 25 years as well as sustainability in relation to the environment.
Around 60 European suppliers made their way to RUBBLE MASTER in Linz/Pichling for the second RM Suppliers’ Day. Following the exciting demonstration of an RM 100GO! and interesting workshops, the company celebrated the RM Summer Opening together with employees in the evening.
The Pegasus Awards 2017, which rank among the most well-known business accolades in Upper Austria, were presented in the Brucknerhaus in Linz on 7 June 2017. We won the coveted third place in the category “The Strong Backbone”. This category featured Upper Austrian companies with 50 to 249 employees.
The RM 120GO! was shown in operation for the first time in combination with the new RM GO! SMART optimisation and service tool at Recycling Aktiv. This expansion of service will guide customers in the future when optimising throughput and troubleshooting.
Over 250 visitors experienced a sensational “Long Night of Art” at RUBBLE MASTER. In collaboration with the Anton Bruckner Private University, Volkmar Klien, composition professor at the university, and RM CEO Gerald Hanisch staged a unique artistic event featuring 50 performers.
Countless visitors to CONEXPO took the opportunity to see the two crushers – RM 70GO! and RM 100GO! – together with the current innovations. The new mesh deck screen, refeeding belt and wind sifter generated a great deal of interest also among longtime customers.
At the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce Africa Day the focus was on the development of the continent and the opportunities for Upper Austrian companies. Christian Windhager, the ASM responsible at RUBBLE MASTER, shared the company’s expertise in the course of a podium discussion.
Many new dealerships have joined us in our anniversary year. RUBBLE MASTER is now represented by around 70 sales partners worldwide. We welcome the new dealers and look forward to continued good cooperation and sharing ongoing success with all our sales partners.
C&D waste accounts for 20 % of general waste in South Africa. That is why the Department of Environmental Affairs invited companies to a workshop about recycling guidelines in order to increase the recycling rate. RM was invited as the only crushing manufacturer to contribute our know-how and expertise.
The high commitment to training apprentices at RM has been acknowledged yet again with an INEO award. RM won in the category “Best medium-sized company for training apprentices in Upper Austria”. Gerald Hanisch and apprentice trainer Regina Denkmayr received the prize from Dr. Rudolf Trauner.
RUBBLE MASTER won the Regional Award in the Industry category for their ongoing dedication to Upper Austria. The province of Upper Austria has always had major significance for RM, which is why we were all the more pleased that this commitment was officially recognized in the form of this award.
Five distinctions are the outstanding result of this year’s school year for our RM apprentices. And this success was of course honoured by the RM managing board. Over the coming months the apprentices will also have the opportunity to learn even more in internal workshops.
RM celebrated its 25-year success story together with over 400 guests. Visitors were captivated by the numerous highlights, including the premiere of the RM 120GO! live in action in front of an audience. Xperts Xchange gave dealers and customers the opportunity to discuss and share their experiences with each other.
RUBBLE MASTER and the African Development Group made it a day to remember for students at the Government School in Bota Land. The two companies sponsored RM backpacks with school items for the best students in every class.
July 1 was devoted to the 25-year anniversary and the vision of the future. RM welcomed its suppliers to the first RM Suppliers’ Day and then went on to celebrate together with them and RM employees the 25-year anniversary with a whole host of highlights.
The RM innovations such as Spec2App, the new RM 120GO! impact crusher and GO! SMART were just some of the highlights at the RM stand at bauma 2016. We were delighted about the countless visitors and the opportunity to celebrate the RM innovations together with both our existing and potential customers.

“How can mobile apps and social media contribute to the future business success of RUBBLE MASTER?” – A team of students from FH Steyr University answered this question from RM at this year’s InnoCamp36. The challenge is to come up with answers and put forward solutions within 36 hours.
RUBBLE MASTER presented a number of new technical developments to its customers and sales partners at the RM Xperience Days in Linz in the middle of September. The RM 90GO!, RM 70GO! 2.0 and the new pivoting refeeding belts with mesh deck screen were shown in action in the course of a product demo.
In cooperation with Hong Kong Polytechnic University, RM dealership “Earth Products China” and ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA, the Austrian trade commission, a varied and exciting program was presented.
