International internship in Northern Ireland
“High quality international internships for our best apprentices are a fixed part of our training program – as motivation and as an opportunity to discover something new”, says RM apprentice trainer Regina Denkmayr. In 2018, engineering apprentice Carmina Kleiß visited the screen manufacturer MAXIMUS in Northern Ireland for two weeks. She experienced the Northern Irish culture, learned many new things about MAXIMUS and their products, and at the same time improved her English! RM apprentices are involved in the planning and preparation of the internships from the beginning. Learning targets are defined together and afterwards the internship is evaluated. In recent years RM apprentices have been sent to subsidiary companies or sales partners in Spain, France, Northern Ireland and England.
Official award for apprenticeship mobility
The EQAMOB Award stands for high quality in apprenticeship mobility. The award was presented to RUBBLE MASTER in November by Dr. Margarete Schramböck, the Austrian Minister for Digital and Economic Affairs. At the official ceremony in the marble hall of the Ministry for Digital and Economic affairs, the national award-winning companies offering apprenticeships, such as RM, were celebrated. That is still only 0.4 % of all companies with apprentice programs in the whole of Austria.
