Job Title: Senior Design Engineer
Reporting to: Engineering Director
Location: Dungannon
Salary: 40K depending on experience

RMD has exciting opportunities for Senior Design Engineers to join our team
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design innovative engineering solutions for RM Groups range of screening and crushing equipment
- To liaise with customers, suppliers and manufacturing staff internally in Dungannon and with Head Office in Linz to ensure that design problems are resolved
- To maintain effective relationships with key contacts, internally within the Design, Engineering and Manufacturing teams and with Suppliers and Vendors
- To communicate relevant information in an efficient and timely manner to ensure staff and stakeholders get timely and relevant information
- To keep abreast of technical/operational and professional initiatives to ensure that new product development is in line with latest industry performance and compliance standards
- To ensure that all manufacturing compliance and administrative processes are complete for all Health, Safety and Product compliance regulations
Person Specification:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3+ years sectoral experience
- Proven track record of delivering work on time and within budget
- 3 years’ experience of software applications such as Solid Works and Creo
- Solid analytical skills and judgment to proactively identify and solve increasingly complex problems
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
- Proficient in Solidworks, Creo and Microsoft Office and database management tools
- Innovative, Analytical, Conceptual, Problem solver
- Ability to build good relationships both internally & externally
- Teamworking skills
