RM80 decreases expenses along with the fleet of trucks
"Before deciding to start into mobile recycling our situation was stressful due to trucking along with the upkeep of the fleet of trucks," explains Brad Petersen, owner of Petersen Excavating, the family business since 1977 in Illinois, USA. "Now we are able to retire most of the trucks and save the costs. Besides we are no longer dependent on cartage companies and aggregate suppliers. We operate the crusher for custom recycling for our demolition business and take over subcontracted jobs. Just recently recycling for a hardscape contractor saved him a total of $ 9,000 expense of purchasing and importing new aggregate, the cost of exporting old concrete and the cost of dump fees."
