RM100. In action in the quarry!
The possibility of producing 0/32 material on site from asphalt and concrete was reason enough for Schotterwerk und Baggerdienst Maier GmbH of Gröbming to invest in an RM100 for their gravel quarry and excavation services.
"The machine has been in operation for almost a year and we've crushed around 150,000 m3," says Josef Maier junior. The company processes over one hundred cubic metres of limestone rock every day to make gravel, grit and sand which is then offered as raw materials for regional roadbuilding companies.
The dolomitic limestone from the quarry is processed primarily for the production of asphalt and concrete, with the RUBBLE MASTER crusher in use in the quarry from 70 to 80 % of the time. "We were convinced very quickly by the performance capability of the RM100. With the RM100 we can now also offer additional demolition work, something that would not have been possible previously," continues a very satisfied Josef Maier junior.
"The great thing about this machine was also the fact that it had already been approved which meant we could start work straight away," says Josef Maier junior.
