Making a name with market-ready recycled building materials
"The RM60 was the best recycling crusher available for starting out because it is able to produce a value end product," says Richard Cooper, explaining why Cotswold Recycling Ltd. was founded in Badminton, England, in 2001. "At first it was difficult to get people to go for recycling. But once we proved what this small machine can do, we could win more and more small and medium hire contracts." After five years they changed to an RM70 – "A brilliant machine with a very good size, fitting most of the contracts we do now," states his partner, Paul Finch. With a growing range of customers they added a second RM70 to their hire fleet and then also switched one RM70 for an RM100 one and a half years ago. "We are really happy with this compact high-performance crusher," says Richard Cooper, "which gives us the opportunity to go for bigger contracts and recycling jobs in quarries as well. We are looking forward in terms of quality, as this is where the recycling market is going: there is a need for various product sizes and we are able to produce them cost-effectively!"
