First RUBBLE MASTER Compact Recycler in Bahrain
AL TAWEEL GROUP – founded in 1975 as a construction company – is a well established organisation and one of the big players in the construction industry in Bahrain. By means of constant expansion they now cover a great variety of fields in this business: excavation, earthworks, drainage, sewerage, civil works and road works, besides running an own division for material and heavy equipment spare parts. In 1994 AL TAWEEL CRUSHER PLANT has been added to the group to decrease supplying costs and to increase productivity rates by supplying their own sites with different types of material according to the specific requirements and supplying other companies with contraction material.
At the BIG5 Show in Dubai in 2008 Mr. Abbas Al Taweel met RUBBLE MASTER Compact Recycler from Austria, the market leader and inventor of compact mobile recycling. Soon after learning about the benefits of mobile recycling – especially the reduction of costs for haulage and for purchasing new material thanks to reusable high quality aggregates produced on site with the powerful, environmentally friendly impact crushers – an RM80 crusher plus a TS3600 screen were delivered to the Kingdom of Bahrain. In the south of the island the Construction Divison of AL TAWEEL GROUP is in charge of building a new power plant, where about 70 excavators are at work. At the moment the basement is being built which means a great demand for construction material.
This is where the RUBBLE MASTER crusher comes into play, saving a lot of money processing the excavated material on site for reuse as a subbase material. Due to the tight schedule works are progressing fast and the crusher is in action for 20 hours a day, producing an average of 150 t / h of cubic final grain. To classify the aggregates, the final grain is screened off to defined grain sizes of 0/5 mm, 5/20 mm and oversize grain 20+ in the mobile RUBBLE MASTER double deck screen TS3600. “This approach has effected in a great economy of time and costs”, explains Mr. Abbas Al Taweel. “Also we were very satisfied with the start-up of the machines by the RUBBLE MASTER area sales manager Mr. Christian Windhager together with the local RUBBLE MASTER agent for the GCC countries, Mr. Mohamed Aldeeb from Remarkable Machinery Company – FZC, which included a comprehensive training and documentation.”
Starting out into mobile recycling
“Whithin the first few days of operating the machines”, says Mr. Abbas Al Taweel “we were awarded a lot of orders for the RUBBLE MASTER equipment. So we immediately ordered a second package of mobile crusher and screen. The idea behind it is to start out into mobile recycling, operating the machine at various sites one after the other, as transport is fast and easy. The mobility of the RUBBLE MASTER crushers and screen also is an advantage in the quarry, if you consider the enormous dimensions of the only quarry in Bahrain. So after only a few weeks of experience with the RUBBLE MASTER Compact Recyclers we are fully satisfied with the achievements made by this investment.”
